We are pleased to announce significant changes designed to strengthen our market position and enhance our ability to serve you better. Hayward Gordon ULC and EBARA Pumps Canada Corporation (EPCC) are amalgamating and will operate under a new corporate name: EBARA HG ULC. Additionally, Scott Turbon Mixer Inc. will change its name to EBARA Mixers Inc. These changes are effective June 30, 2024.
Our heavy-duty pumps efficiently transfer sludges with consistencies up to 8% solids concentration and pass a sphere size up to 8” in diameter. Alternatively, we can provide chopping action which eliminates down stream clogging of nozzles, heat exchangers, valves and other equipment. If highly abrasive grit is your problem, we have the solution in a specially designed recessed impeller pump. All wetted components are extra heavy construction with hardened steel, high chrome iron, Ni-Hard or Super Ni-Hard materials to ensure long, trouble free service life even in the most demanding applications.
Our equipment is state of the art for handling sludge. Whether the pumping application is sludge transfer, sludge mixing, return activated sludge (RAS), or waste activated sludge (WAS), we have a pump designed for that application.
The Hayward Gordon ChopX pump is a durable pump built with case hardened steel wetted parts to 650 BHN. This centrifugal pump combines chopping and pumping to provide efficient solutions to difficult situations in one heavy-duty long-lasting pump.
The XCS screw centrifugal pump is the ideal pump for handling both RAS – a vital part of the water treatment process – and WAS, which is excess material in the wastewater treatment system. It provides the gentle action required to maintain the biological floc that is the essential ingredient in the activated sludge treatment process.
The Torus Recessed Impeller pump is a vortex style recessed impeller pump designed to handle the most difficult applications like grit and sludge pumping. The recessed impeller design and Super Ni-Hard cast Iron (650 BHN) construction ensures a long service life even under the most demanding pumping applications, such as grit. A reusable and replaceable wear plate protects the pump casing from the extreme wear associated with pumping grit.
Our durable, reliable mixers deliver the precise and powerful dispersion, de-agglomeration, dissolution, suspension, reaction acceleration, particle size reduction, homogenization, and emulsification that is critical in a wide variety of water and wastewater applications.
Our mixer group can provide the appropriate mixer solution for your application. We have an experienced team of mixer experts to recommend both the type of mixer and sizing for a particular application. We offer water treatment mixers for every application in the wastewater treatment process.
Our HydroMix system was designed for mixing anaerobic digesters, but also has been applied to a host of difficult mixing applications. The system uses a ChopxX pump and nozzles to create vigorous mixing in the most demanding applications.
CHOPX Chopper Pumps
The CHOPX chopper pump performs the dual function of chopping and cutting, protecting the pump from clogging. They are ideally suited for applications requiring reduction of solids or protection of downstream equipment. Eliminates the need for a separate grinder device.
Torus Recessed Impeller Pump
The Torus recessed impeller pump has large internal passages for handling solids up top 8″ diameter. The Ni-Hard construction easily handle highly abrasive liquids. Then pumps are also available in stainless steel or cast iron for clean fluids. The pump features abrasion resistant materials of construction and a low cost, sacrificial wear element that protects the casing.
XCS Screw Centrifugal Pumps
The XCS pump offers a unique set of advantages handling thick sludges, abrasive slurries, large or stringy solids, shear sensitive fluids and delicate materials. The open channel impeller combines gentle, clog-free operation with high efficiency and non-overloading characteristics. Hard metal, wear resistant construction in Ni-Hard or High Chrome for long abrasive service.
